The Camp Wortman facility is located just south of Hartland Christian Camp’s main campus, adjacent to Hartland’s original 320-acre property. It offers your church group a rustic tent camping self-serve option and the ability to prepare your own meals. Camp Wortman is roughly 80 acres with a lodge (dining hall and kitchen), creek, hiking trails, two outdoor amphitheaters, and breathtaking views of the Sierras and San Juaquin Valley.
Originally a boy scout camp, Hartland acquired this property in July of 2020. Updates will be made available here as we continue to improve the property. (Hartland still serves Boy Scouts at this location, for 2024 and beyond - the Boy Scouts pay the same rates as other groups)
Hartland uses the Camp Wortman Campus to help fulfill our ministry objectives.
Hartland Christian Camp is a conservative, Bible-based camp seeking to partner with like-minded Christian churches and ministries in spreading the Good News, that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ. You can view our full statement of faith here.
