Would you like to learn new skills on the job, or are you considering a career in Christian Camping? Do you wish you could try it out before jumping in? Now you can. Hartland Christian Camp is offering volunteer internships in Food Service, Maintenance/Operations, and Office Administration during the Spring and Fall seasons.
Commitments can be as short as 4 weeks, and are often available for up to 3-6 months depending on the season. Internships will have you learning skills through a hands-on approach. We are currently looking for 3-5 individuals between all of our internship program offerings.
Current service dates start in January of 2023 after the Christmas break and run through November, 2023 (shorter-stays welcome).
There may also be times interns will have the opportunity to serve in other departments, developing skills and experience in a broad range of camping areas. Housing will be provided; you'll be able to enjoy hot meals whenever guest groups are in, and basic food items will be available to you between camps as well. These are unpaid, volunteer positions.
Due to housing limitations, internships are limited to single applicants and will likely include shared housing with other same-sex interns.
You'll also receive a certificate of completion for your time with us which can be used for resumes and to meet required volunteer hours for school, ministry, or scholarship applications.
